Karin Desir heard about the MHMT through a friend. She did a sponsored cycle from London to Canterbury (65 miles)!

Karin is aiming to raise £1000 - you can STILL click on "Donate" in this JustGiving widget to help her reach it - THANK YOU!


Karin completed the route on 11 September and the photo shows her one mile before the finish.

Karin says:
"I did not know Miriam personally but she was one of the best friends of one of my very good friends. From all I have heard, Miriam was a wonderful person with an incredible spirit. I am so touched by her story and strength of her family, and really wanted to do something to help the charity. They are raising money for a specular microscope for the Miriam Hyman Children's Eye Care Centre and all your sponsorship will go directly towards that."
