To mark what would have been Mim's 37th birthday, Kate Green organised a raffle, with the grand draw on 29th November, the day before Mim's birthday, at The Hill in Hampstead.

As always at these events, there was a great crowd and the atmosphere was buzzing!

Lots of people took turns at drawing the prize tickets, and the top prize of a night at the Waldorf Hilton was won by Emma Cowan. We hope she really enjoys her night of luxury! Other prizes included tickets for stage show "Priscilla, Queen of the Desert", champagne and canapes at the Mint Leaf, Bourjois make-up, magazine subscriptions, DVD's and some of Mavis's hand painted silks.

The raffle draw was a great reason to bring people together for the occasion of Mim's birthday, and it brought us even closer to our fund-raising target to buy a RetCam.

The event was filmed by KTF Films who are featuring the MHMT in a forthcoming feature-length documentary on three stories with positive outcomes from terrorist incidents.

A HUGE THANK YOU to Kate for organising this raffle, which, added to what she raised on her Great Wall of China Trek in October makes her the MHMT's highest individual fund-raiser of 2009!
