Wednesday 8th July 2009
6.30pm to 8.30pm

This year's Alyth Youth Singers concert was in aid of the MHMT. Timed to coincide with the fourth anniversary of the London bombings on 7th July, the concert took place at the synagogue that Miriam used to attend.
The programme included a mixture of popular Israeli songs and favourites from the 1960's, and more!
The choir are aged between 10 and 18, and they really put their heart into their performance. There was an atmosphere of joy and warmth, with a wonderful rapport between Viv and the choir. Esther spoke to the choir beforehand and they were already familiar with Miriam's story, which they really took to heart.
Thanks to Viv Bellos, Alyth's Musical Director, who knew Miriam, and to the North Western Reform Synagogue for supporting the MHMT. THANK YOU to everyone who worked hard to make it an enjoyable night, which also raised funds for the Trust.
